Victim says he was shot by robber in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man told police he was shot by a suspect who demanded his wallet late Thursday night in Greensboro. 

According to police, 22-year-old Brandin Shields was found shot shortly after 11:45 p.m. at 829 Dillard St. 

Shields told police he was on the front porch of his home when he was approached by the suspect.  The suspect reportedly demanded the victim’s wallet, but Shields told him he did not have one. 

Afterward, Shields told police the suspect shot him and ran away. 

The victim was taken to Moses Cone Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, police said. 

No ample suspect description was provided.
